Monday night ended the fall baseball season and my first season as an assistant coach. The kids played awesome and we ended with a winning season, which is not important as long as the kids had fun.
Carson went to the game in his T-ball uniform and cleats ready to play just in case. On Saturday the weather was not good so some of the kids did not show and we were short players. We had three players step-up and help out Carson, Elijah, and Liam (Tanner's friend). If it was not for these kids we would have had to forfeit them game. Coach Shawn gave them all game balls for helping out. Carson thought that was the greatest and so he was ready to play again on Monday but he was not needed.
Tanner played his best game of the season. He improved in all aspects during fall ball. He caught the whole game and was calling the plays and letting his team know how many outs and where the play was. Coach Shawn called him the "General" when he was passing out trophies. He also got two very solid hits tonight!! Grandma and Grandpa got to finally see him play Coach pitch and they were so impressed and really enjoyed the game.
Hey everyone, checkout the catchers equipmet Tanner is wearing this was my gear that my Daddy bought me when I was 5 or 6 yrs old. So this is true old school gear, it is atleast 30yrs old.
