Sara went in this morning at 8:00 am for her ACL to be reconstructed. After the pre-op Sara was finally rolled back for surgery at 10:30. She did have general anesthesia. The Dr. came out at 12:00 and told me everything went well. I finally got back to see her around 1:15 and we got home around 2:30. She slept most of the afternoon and has had minimal pain. Things are going much better after this surgery. She is bending her knee about 80 degrees and is weight bearing some. There was some bleeding around the staples this evening when she was up moving around but that has stopped now. The Dr. gave specfic orders for her to exercise the knee once an hour every hour and we have a follow up appt. next Friday with Pt begining in about 3 weeks.

Cool incision, Sara. I love surgery stuff...wish I could've watched. Hope you're feeling in tip top shape real soon.
